Rumours of My Demise!


Twain replied, are greatly exaggerated!

Of Miss Heming Jefferson said Callender

had the situation grossly aggravated!

Clinton did not have sexual relations

Kennedy always in compromising situations!


Of Sabra, Shatila, Ariel Sharon once said

My enemies tried to bury me too early!

Of Archer's, Wait Till I'm Mayor, speech

Some observed that he was somewhat surly!


Chatterley, Lawrence said, the real point

Is: think of sex honestly, clearly, fully

Hysteria, rumour and speculation disjoint

And serve in making common thinking woolly
